My hand drawn logos. By Alan Sands

Bubble man

A picture of a mannequin to start.

Bubble men

A rough sketch and shape building

More shape building

The bubble man sitting down

Almost the same except this time the legs are tucked back more and the head is tilted back more.

In this one the figures are morphing from each other and the legs are forming a heart shape with the Earth in the middle

In this one they are facing each other instead of back to back, touching hands, again with heart shaped legs with the Earth in the middle

A quick do in Photoshop

The Tree

Mannequin pose

Quick sketches. One of a tree.

The idea of this is people are growing from a tree.

This one is more plant like and the people sprouting from it are more flower like

Again this represents people growing and being part of a tree/plant.

This one is like a jewelry but the band is the body of a person and diamond is the head of a person. Again the Earth is in the middle.

Faces

The idea of this is the image is one face but split with cultures. i.e. African, Asian etc……

Again a face represented by the different cultures but this time its the art of the culture.

The idea of this is the image is one face but split with cultures. i.e. African, Asian etc…… SCOTT PILGRIM style

Again a face represented by the different cultures but this time its the art of the culture.

SCOTT PILGRIM style

Scott Pilgrim Poster to show what I mean.

Reaching

Mannequin pose

Rough sketch on left. On the right is the idea that people are reaching for each other in a kind of sharp ghost shape.

Same idea except back to bubble men.

The Earth with people from all different walks of like. Race, Sex etc…….

Bubble men again. Simple. One in front and more behind. All different colours.

Hands

Mannequin pose with hands in front

Hands cupped. Each hand of a different colour. The hands are holding people of different cultures in a positive glow.

Again hands are to be  a different colours. Inside are silhouettes of people reaching for each other.(Positive Glow?)

Numerous hands palm side up (all of different colours) holding people (different colours).

SIMPLES. Two hands shaking. Again each a different colour. (Possible bubble men hands???)

My 12 logos, By Alan Sands

This logo is from a charity organisation called The Teutonic Order of St Mary’s Hospital in Jerusalem. I liked this logo as it gives the look and feeling of being embraced and as the the each hand is a different colour it could symbolize diversity.

This logo is from the Giving Gardens charity. It is a simple logo but I liked because of the hand growing from the plant. It gives the feeling of growth through human involvement.

This image is for a charity which stands for unity. It symbolizes people from all different cultures and races coming together. It also features a ribbon with all the colours used for representing the people.

This logo is designed by C Sharp Design in the UK. This particular design is for another charity. Although the charity is not specified in the logo we can see forms of people made from the charitable ribbons.

This logo is one of my random ones. Nothing to do with charity or to do with the project. I chose this because of its simplicity and the use of the letter Y to help make up the character.

Again a random logo I found when I was looking for a website to buy a new bike. I thought this was a good logo design. Just like the one above this logo uses the the word cycle to make a picture of a bicycle.

One of the symbols and pieces of art I found that was used for the International Festival of Cultural Diversity. I liked the idea that the mix of colours blend in to form one colour with the picture of hands.

Another picture for the International Festival of Cultural Diversity. I liked the way that all the hands originate from the same area as if to suggest we all come from the same place. Also the different colours to represent the different cultures.

Again another picture for International Festival of Cultural Diversity. This one however is a little more simple but with the bright colours it is very catching to the eye. I also liked the hand drawing on the D.

Ok so its not a symbol. But I really liked the idea of the hands from different races supporting each other and also the way the hands are holding on to each other they form a star shape in the middle. Although its not a symbol, this image could help give some ideas for creating a Cultural Diversity Logo.

I really liked this logo. It is simple but stylish, colourful and eye catching. I liked the way the artist used a  simple wavey line to form the initials VW.

Again another random image I just stumbled across but I really liked the look of this. The lizard picture is the same in all for small frames with a different colour background. Again it gives good ideas of how to use simplicity to generate a logo design

12 Logos of All time, by Slavik Fjodorov.

Standart Google Logo

1)  Google logo simple and attractive font, it’s also well known for changing the design of its main search page logo to celebrate days in history. In my own opinion this logo design according to many other logo designs is a bit amateurish as it is too simple in terms of colors, fonts and pattern. The Google logo exhibits extreme simplicity and is highly uncomplicated. Because this logo is so simple it can be recognized anywhere. Original Google logo was using this font Catull. Sergey Brin created Google logo in 1998.

Nike Logo

2) Nike logo design is most well recognized logos. The Nike logo was designed by Carolyn Davidso in 1971. This logo design symbolizes the wing of the Greek goddess of victory. The swoosh of the Nike logo is really simple, and now days it’s using a lot as a checkmark in clothes. The slogan of “Just Do It” adds a strong point of communication with the younger generation. It is really interesting how this small and simple logo become so successful.

Puma Logo

3) Puma logo I think the only one logo so war which one was designed in 1948 by and since then has not received any modifications. The logo itself features a Puma in leaping action and represents the competency and reliability of the products offered by the service. The object in this logo is actually an animal also called a cougar, which is active in both daytime and nighttime. This logo is simple, memorable, scalable, relevant and versatile. The Puma logo effectively conveys brand message to the targeted market.

YouTube Logo

4) Everyone in this world was watching at least once video on the YouTube. In my own opinion the YouTube logo is more popular and recognized than even some of the mainstream television channels. The YouTube logo is is relatively simple. At the same time it is an icon. It is a typeface logo with a simplistic and easy to understand. The red color on the right hand side of the logo also helps to make it catchy of people’s attention. Most importantly it fits in very will with the overall objective of the website and the site’s design.

VW Logo

5) In my opinion in Volkswagen logo V and W work really well together, this logo is the largest automobile brand. The name ‘Volkswagen’ means ‘People’s car’ The letters V and W encircled with bold fonts. They stuck to this wheel like circle with initials ‘V’ and ‘W’ inside. I think this gave the logo a more elegant and corporate look. The color theme of this logo is blue and gray. The current logo is exceptionally impact and eye-catching.

Coca-Cola Logo

6) Looking at this logo you can straight away notice how just a normal bold font with the fancy swirls can give your logo a beautiful design. This logo is eye-catching and it`s the famous logo of today. This logo was done by John Pemberton’s in 1885. The font used in this logo, known as Spencerian script. This font was done by hand writing. The red color stand up really well on the white color, this logo was kept simple and distinctive to lure young minds. Everyone know that Coca-cola stands for soft drink (Coke).

Adiddas Logo

7) I love adidas, so that’s why I choose this logo. It`s a simple and attractive logo with the three strips and the font below it. This logo represents elegance and durability and also the leading sports gear in the world.  This logo was created by Adi Dassler in 1967. The shape of the three stripes on this adidas logo represents mountain, which one is pointing towards the challenges that are seen and goals that can be achieved. In my opinion this logo is clear, simple and confident and shows leadership.

Apple Logo

8.) As I`m a big fun of Apple products, I decided to talk about this logo. The interesting fact of this logo is that Apple is the only logo famous logo I found which one is not using name (font), compare to the others logos.  I think that this logo is most recognized corporate symbols in the world. This logo was done by Jobs and Wayne in 1976. The silvery chrome finish in the new Apple logo is consistent with the design scheme and freshens up the icon. This logo is my favorite so far, maybe because I love apple.

Ferrari Logo

9) Ferrari logo consists of a symbol of ‘Prancing Horse’ on a yellow back ground, usually with the letters SF below it. This letters (SF) stands for Scuderia Ferrari. This logo is well organized and also well known almost by all, especially the fans of the motor car racing. When we hear the name Ferrari we straight away get in our had image of the of speed and sport car. This logo was done by Enzo Ferrari in 1940, which later become the part of the world famous logo. This black horse on yellow background stands out really well.

McDonald Logo

10) Everyone in the world at least once was in McDonald, so that why I pick this logo. The McDonalds logo has become a symbol of international business expansion. McDonalds Corporation has become synonymous with fast food and has become one of the largest chains of fast food restaurants in the world. This famous golden Arches in McDonalds logo represent style, significance and a strong corporate identity. This logo was created by Jim Schindler in 1962. From an angle, those arches looked like the letter “M” and thus, were incorporated in the McDonalds logo as a merger of the two golden arches together. Looking at this logo it`s reminds me like something nice, sweet, summary, warm, cartoony style.

FedEx Logo

11) Almost everyone in the world knows shipping company FedEx. FedEx logo was designed by Richard Runyon in 1973. Behind the FedEx logo’s simplicity, lays an arrow located in the negative space between the ‘E’ and ‘X’ pointing rightwards. The arrow in the FedEx logo become quite obvious when pointed out, it sure is neglected by many. This arrow has been used as a form of subliminal advertising of the brand. It`s symbolizing forward movement and thinking. FedEx logo is quality example of sheer ubiquity and inspiring symbology. Looking at this logo is so simply done, just by using bold text and a little bit creativity in your had. I think this logo is very creative design.

Subway Logo

12) Subway is the restaurant that serves submarine sandwiches. The Subway or with the another way of calling it ( Eat Fresh)  logo is based on dark green, yellow and white color scheme with slanted character positioning that makes the logo design appear lighter. The design also includes the name of the restaurant in upper case and a bold font making them more prominent while, the business slogan is included in small case characters in a darker shade. I subway logo design you can notice it has two arrows literally depicting the name of the restaurant. Inclusion of a full stop after the slogan gives a strength and finality to the logo design.
