My finished logo

Hello everyone my name is Slavik and today I’m going to explain how I came up with the idea of my logo and the symbolism.

The first thing I’m going to talk to you about is the human figure made up from the different shapes and colours which together make up the letter A at the front of my logo. The reason I picked these colours is to represent different cultures and to also stick out from the logo itself. The shapes are all connected making a human like body which symbolizes that every culture has to live amongst each other and help each other progress without losing their originality and uniqueness, having to work together to make the body work. The reason I left a small gap between the shapes shows that each culture is different but also closely connected to each other. The reason I chose the human figure is mainly because cultures really just applies amongst humanity.

After a lot of thinking and experimenting how to try and connect the human with the rest of the logo I came up with the idea to have the shadow of his right leg showing up between his legs to make up an A and also have it connected to the rest of the writing. The reason I chose the simple bold font writing and the simple grey colour is to help the human logo stand out even more from the writing itself. I also have a bit of slight symbolism in the writing of the logo with the grey colours going from light to dark as you can see which cancels out racism between cultures and enforces the meaning of “All of us”. If you take a close look at the two L’s at the start of the logo you can notice a small decline between the two letters. This shows that some people have to take a step down when adapting to another culture if for example immigrating to another country to live amongst people who would have different culture then they originate from.
